There will be a NHS lunch meeting today at 11:10 to prepare for officer induction and banquet.
There is Jazz band on Thursday morning at 7:15.
There will be 13U baseball practice Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:30 at Steve Stumbris Memorial Park.
The Art Club's Empty Bowls Event to raise money and awareness for Pastor Fred's food pantry will be held this week on Tuesday. Buy a hand crafted bowl for $7.00 and fill it with all the soup you want. Then take the bowl home! Serving will be from 4:30 to 6:30 or until the soup runs out (whichever comes first).
Reminder: If you are going to have a sports physical for the 2017-2018 school year, please sign up by this Thursday, April 27 at Noon in the high school office. Bellin Health will be here May 2 to do physicals in the morning.
Seniors: Yearbook needs your baby photo if you have not turned one in yet to Ms. Kapalczynski. Please have them in by this Friday, April 28.
If any yearbook orders need personalization (name stamps, icons, etc.) orders must be in by this Friday. This is the final date for personalizations.
Seniors: If you are attending NWTC in the Fall, it is crucial that you are checking your NWTC email. Registration is now open and your email is how you will know about this. See Mrs. Betts if you need help.
Congratulations to the Forensics Team this past Friday night. The team did a fabulous job at the State event in Madison. The following students earned gold: Quentin Unferth, Alee Aragon, Averie Menger, Haley Piontek, Emily Shaw, and Beyonce Williams, earning a silver Jason Jaworski, Isabella Manske, Brooke Van Laanen, Lexi Zak, Sammy Gruszynski, Maggy Deschane, Avery Bartels, Natalie Schroeder, Macy Wojcik, Larissa Rowley, Stephanie Murray, Quincee Schultz, and Madelyn Schlies, earning a bronze, Sirina Tyler and Aidan Aragon.
North Countree Christmas is now hiring a summer crew. Must be at least 15 years old. Information is hanging outside the office door.
DeSmidt’s Golf Course in Crivitz will be awarding 3 free student golf memberships for the 2017 season. Students ages 14-19 may apply for the memberships. If interested stop in the office for more information.
Reminder: Bellin Health will be offering sports physicals for the 2017-2018 school year on Tuesday, May 2 from 8:30 – Noon right here at school. Stop in the high school office for more information. If you are going to have a physical, please sign up by April 27 at Noon in the high school office. There is a waiting list sign-up in case Bellin Health has extra time on May 2 to do more physicals.
The Wisconsin DNR is offering a Hunter Safety Class at the Pembine School cafeteria sponsored by the Dunbar Sportman’s Club. Registration is required & started April 10. The class will start on May 13. For more information please call (715) 548-1058.
Tom’s Concrete & Snowplowing is looking for summer help as a laborer doing construction work. Driver’s license is necessary. Call Tom at (715) 927-2827 if interested.
Thomas Wiedemeier Sawmill in Porterfield is looking for full-time summer help to do general laborer duties. Stop in the high school office for more information.
The Village of Wausaukee is looking for a part-time worker for the summer. Please pick up an application at the village hall. Must be 16 or older.

Crivitz School is offering a babysitting, first aid, CPR class for next year’s 7 & 8 graders on Saturday, June 10. If interested stop in the office for more information.
Attention all junior high and high school basketball players, Carney-Nadeau School District is hosting a boys’ and girls’ 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 tournaments. Sign up forms are located in the high school office.
Any JH/HS student interested in being a teachers’ aide for summer school should see Mrs. Figas in the district office.
