The Wausaukee School District is committed to helping all students be successful and meet their learning needs. Success for students means ensuring that each has appropriate educational opportunities to allow each to achieve his/her potential and be prepared for a successful life after their formal educational years.  Part of our district's commitment to all students’ success is having a variety of student services professionals available within our schools. Student Services professionals include:  counseling and nursing services, school psychologist, special education and related services, and learning coaches in the areas of reading and math

The goal of Student Services is to assist in students' intellectual, emotional, physical, social and vocational development.  Student Services staff are key to helping students develop proactive and positive approaches to handling situations in everyday life, planning for the future, as well as overcoming any barriers to learning that might otherwise result in poor academic performance or inhibits students in meeting individual goals.  Student Services staff work closely with classroom teachers, as well as other school and district personnel, families and the community.  A collaborative approach affords students and families a wide variety of supports and opportunities to help ensure successful learning opportunities for each of our students.
