Welcome to Wausaukee
home of the rangers!
The School District of Wausaukee will engage students, families, staff, school administration and all community stakeholders to act as a single entity in building a sustainable educational institution to support learning through excellence in programs, processes and delivery. Individuals will develop academic and personal mastery skills to support lifelong learning and fulfill their potential within a global community.
The School District of Wausaukee is located in Northeast Wisconsin, approximately thirty (30) minutes from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our 417 square footage District comprises eight (8) municipalities including the towns of: Amberg, Athelstane, Middle Inlet, Porterfield, Silver Cliff, Wagner, Wausaukee and the Village of Wausaukee. The District has an estimated enrollment of 375 students throughout three (3) schools: Wausaukee Elementary servicing three (3) year old kindergarten through fourth (4th) grades, Wausaukee Middle School servicings fifth (5th) through eighth (8th) grades and Wausaukee High School services students ninth (9th) through twelfth (12th). Our District offers a year-round daycare onsite, “Little Learners Center”. Wausaukee is proud to have a strong partnership with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) including the Northwoods Program offering welding, automotive, nursing and entrepreneur courses inhouse.
