The Wausaukee Ranger Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional individuals and teams. We encourage you to nominate Alumni from the School District of Wausaukee, dedicated Staff, Coaches (academic or athletic), and Athletes/Teams. To submit a nomination (for someone else or yourself), simply complete and return the official Wausaukee Ranger Hall of Fame application. Any extra documentation or additional supporting materials can be submitted to the Wausaukee School District Office.
Alumni
An individual may be nominated for induction in the category of alumni after a minimum of thirty (30) years post-graduation from the Wausaukee High School.
The individual must have demonstrated significant achievement/prominence at the local, state, national or global level in one or more of the following areas:
Business leadership / accomplishment / contribution
Professional leadership / accomplishment / contribution
Civic leadership / accomplishment / contribution
Staff
An individual may be nominated for induction in the category of staff after a minimum of five (5) years post- retirement or leaving the District.
Must have demonstrated significant achievement/prominence at the local, state, national or global level in one or more of the following areas:
Professional leadership / accomplishment / contribution
Civic leadership / accomplishment / contribution
Coach
(Academic or Athletic)
An individual may be nominated for induction in the category of coach after a minimum of five (5) years post-retirement or leaving the District.
Potential Criteria:
Number of years and activity coached for the Wausaukee School District or at other successful levels
Conference, Regional, Sectional, State Championships while coaching
Development and growth of the activity while coaching in Wausaukee School District
State and/or national recognition for coaching achievements
Professional affiliations and commitment to community and profession
Athlete/Team
An individual or team may be nominated for induction in the category of Athlete/Team after a minimum of twenty (20) years post-graduation from the Wausaukee High School.
Potential Criteria including but not limited to, the outstanding achievement:
As a WHS athlete
At State/National Level
In any other athletic arena
Olympics, amateur festivals, sports, not offered at WHS
Beyond high school athletics
College, career, professional athletics, coaching, and commitment to community
The nomination application deadline is April 1, 2026. The Selection Committee must vote on the nominees by May 31, 2026. The ceremony will take place September/October (Homecoming week), 2026.
